The Caribbean.
Way down in Kokomo...
Driving around the island of Curacao in the Caribbean there was a sign with an arrow that read "You'll get there faster if you take it slow ----> KOKOMO." Yes! What? There really is a such a place?! And to think all this time I really thought The Beach Boys made this place up! But no, its for real and it's BEAUTIFUL!
Happy Day.
A little red sailboat, a big beautiful turquoise sea off the island of Aruba in the Caribbean.
I intentionally broke the photographers rule of thirds, by placing the sailboat directly in the center of my composition because it demanded to be the center of attention!
"Rules, Shambles!" (As my Art Director son responded.)
"This photo just makes me happy!" (As my sailing son responded, hence the title.)Pure Caribbean #3
Why different images of just sand, sea and sky? Because each beach, each day, has it's subtle differences in the Caribbean. Some days the water is more aqua, some days more turquoise, depending on the sun and depth of the water among other things) some waves on the shore spread out like a liquid fan, some waves, ripple and sparkle in the hot sun as they wash gently upon the shore. Each have their subtle differences.
All bliss.
Ahhh...
