Peaceful dreaming on Maligne Lake
This is a 4 image panorama shot in portrait orientation. I wanted the rocks to be included in the foreground in the center of the mountain range.
It was so peaceful I could have stayed right there for the rest of the day!maligned lakejasper national parkjasper albertacanadaglacier fed

Landscape on the Going to the Sun Road!
If you're driving along the scariest and most beautiful road there is, you have to pull over once in a while, catch your breath and take a photo!!

Swiftcurrent Falls in Many Glacier.
This was my favorite waterfall of our trip to Glacier. Not only was it spectacular but it was difficult to get to. The tripod was perched up on the edge of a very small ledge and the incoming storm created strong winds which make a long exposure difficult. So in the name of full disclosure, this image, although my favorite, is not tack sharp, so printing in a very large format is not recommended. This is the only photo I've put on my website that is not tack sharp. But, I'm printing mine anyway!!! You've been warned. :)
Trick Falls.
The other name for this falls is Running Eagle Twin Falls. During Winter and Early Spring when the runoff is abundant, a second fall shoots over the top, along with the one you see here, coming out of the rocks. One waterfall or two, it is stunning to see the water tumble out and over the rocks of this unusual waterfall.

Athabasca Falls Viewpoint. (Vertical Orientation.)
There are so many different viewing areas and opportunities to see this amazing falls at different angles. I loved the complexity of this view as the falls rush down river, swirling into this circular space carved into the rocky cliff from years of rushing water.
